We encourage young professionals to start making a change now by pledging 1% of their bonus to charitable causes.

Many of us enter the workforce eager to give back to our community, but never get around to doing it. We forget or we get busy. The Analyst Pledge ensures we keep each other accountable.

We aim to be more than a fundraising organization. While in no way required, members are invited to stay involved beyond their analyst years. Our annual 1% pledge will increase its impact as we step into leadership positions and grow our capacity to give.

We envision our collective, amplified voice will help enact meaningful social, environmental, and economic change. The Analyst Pledge was created to provide a simple and transparent system for making this happen. Our partnerships with experienced impact investors ensure the impact of every pledged dollar is maximized.

Our Footprint

The charities we have chosen to work with are active around the globe. We hope to help you find one that tackles a cause you are passionate about, whether at home or abroad. Our Analyst Advised Fund makes it easy and effective to get involved with these projects.

Our Story


The Analyst Pledge started over Greek takeout in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, where we, four NYU Stern undergraduates, had been discussing the social impact of our future careers. Inspired by similar organizations in other fields, including soccer, academia, and in Silicon Valley, we took our own pledge to donate 1% of our future bonuses to charity.

Chatting with friends, classmates, and colleagues revealed to us a surprisingly high interest in taking a similar pledge among those beginning their professional life. We formalized The Analyst Pledge upon graduating from NYU, launching the organization in July 2020, and currently have over $14,000 in annual commitments by 52 members.

Today, we are working towards maximizing the impact of every dollar given through us. We sincerely believe there exists enough interest for The Analyst Pledge to grow across companies, universities, and countries - and to get there, we could really use your help!
